The legs are built from 1-1/4″ square steel tubing, internally reinforced with a specially Matthews-engineered gusset for maximum strength at full extension. The extra-wide 74″ footprint and Rocky Mountain Leveling Leg to keep the base firm and stable on any terrain, and a dedicated guy wire collar lets you run stabilizing ropes or cables for added safety at extreme heights. At the heart of the stand sits the Matthews-invented combo casting with a pop-up 5/8″ Baby Pin and 1-1/8″ Junior Receiver, giving both Grips and Electrics exactly what they need from a single head.
